All charts created using make-charts.com are free to use. Some charts may display a small make-charts.com attribution mark, which helps spread the word about our service.

6. Subscription and Pricing

6.1 Service Plans

make-charts.com offers multiple subscription tiers to meet different user needs:

Free Plan: Basic chart types, SVG/PNG export, and storage for up to 50 charts at no cost.
Starter Plan: $4.90/month or $49/year - Includes everything in Free plus advanced chart types, embed mode export, unlimited chart storage, and priority support.
Pro Plan: $12.90/month or $129/year - Includes everything in Starter plus AI-powered chart creation and editing, file upload support, and advanced customization (Coming Soon).

6.2 Billing

Monthly subscriptions are billed on a recurring monthly basis.
Annual subscriptions are billed once per year and offer a 17% discount compared to monthly billing.
All prices are in USD and subject to applicable taxes.
Payment is processed securely through our payment partners.

7. Cancellation and Refund Policy

7.1 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.
Upon cancellation, you will continue to have access to paid features until the end of your current billing period.
After the billing period ends, your account will automatically revert to the Free plan.
No further charges will be made after cancellation.

7.2 Refund Policy

Annual Subscriptions: We offer a pro-rated refund based on unused months. Refunds are calculated from the date of cancellation to the end of the annual period.
Monthly Subscriptions: Monthly subscriptions are non-refundable, except within the first 30 days after your initial subscription purchase. If you cancel within the first 30 days of your initial subscription, you are eligible for a full refund.
Usage-Based Refunds: For annual subscriptions, refunds are calculated based on the actual usage period. The refund amount will be the difference between the amount paid and the equivalent monthly rate for the months used.
Processing: Refund requests must be submitted through our support channels. Approved refunds will be processed within 5-10 business days.

7.3 Downgrade Policy

You may downgrade your subscription plan at any time.
Downgrades take effect at the beginning of your next billing cycle.
No partial refunds are provided for downgrades during an active billing period.

9. Service Modifications

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service without prior notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall make-charts.com be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
